2007 Tahoe Hard To Start After Filling Up - Trouble filling gas tank | page 2 | chevy tahoe, Trouble filling up the gas tank discussion in 'engine & drivetrain' started by bigclay, aug 1, 2012. page 2 have a 2004 tahoe, a while back the tank would not fill, i replaced the vent solenoid and all was well, then noticed the smell of gas and found that the lines from the tank/pump were rotted out. i replaced the evap in 2007 yukon.

2007 tahoe hard start warm,3rd trip dealer, Never say never! in september of 2007 we picked up a new tahoe lt3, white with ebony interior, and 20" wheels. beautiful truck! well right at about 3500 miles the truck started having hard starting problems. it would take a good 3 or 4 seconds of cranking to start, and sometimes it would start and then die.. Very hard start fueling: car runs great, , The car runs great, then i stop to fuel up and after fueling i have to crank it for quite a long time for it to start again. after the initial start, it will start very quickly and easily, until the next tome i need gas. was told not to fill it each time. tried that and no matter how much or little i put in, it is the same.. Problems starting fueling - chevy traverse, The fiilling up/hard start issue is related to overfilling. over time it causes issues with the valve. i believe there are 2 valves--- one is on top of the gas tank- the 2nd is close to the engine. usually changing the one by the engine will correct the issue. someone has pics of their valve replacement on here. easy thing to do..
